Amazing night staff and food were great, can't wait to go back

Fabulous meal and service, highly recommend for family meal or night

The food was very disappointing - quite a few of the meals were cold. The steak was both overcooked and cold. The service was equally frosty and impersonal. Because it was near Christmas the restaurant was busy and it was very heard to hear. I brought a group but I certainly won't go back.

I have a traditional Christmas lunch with my daughter at Carluccio's in Dublin and I have noted that it has deteriorated hugely over the last few years. Last year the signature dish was very salty. This year I had the Christmas menu chicken and my daughter had the Ragu pasta. My food was cool to luke warm so I had to send it back to get reheated. The chicken was greasy not an enjoyable meal at all. I didn't like the way the chicken breast was split in two and then fried. Felt very unhealthy. My daughter had the Ragu pasta and it was very dry and also a bit luke warm. I had the profiteroles for dessert and they were not great either. Very crumbly pastry and dry on the inside. I'll have to go somewhere else next year. I can't keep going back to that poor quality food.

Very slow service though the restaurant wasn’t busy. Over an hour before we got our food. Had to ask several times for water for the table and milk for the tea.

Our waitress from Brazil was excellent. However we had very long waiting periods for our courses.

Food was OK but was a little disappointed with the quality of the chicken as I felt it was a little thin

Our order for drinks was taken promptly but it took another twenty minutes for our food order to be taken. People who occupied the table beside us and who arrived well after us, were served ahead of us. But it was the fact that the waiting staff told us they wanted the table back when we had already settled the bill and were quite clearly preparing to leave that irked. There was no need to badger us in this way. They could see we were leaving. And btw, it was within the two hour ‘window’ allocated to each booking. Perhaps if we had been served a little quicker we would have been out of there sooner? I began to regret the generous tip we had given. This is a lovely restaurant for informal dining, but this ‘conveyor belt’ attitude to customers is unfortunate.

The four of us had a lovely afternoon in the restaurant. Friendly & great service as usual. Food was lovely & very good value

A most enjoyable lunch at Carluccio's, delicious food combined with attentive service all at a reasonable price. The Christmas set lunch is great value and total cost for 4 people including wine and coffee €200.

The staff were very nice and food very good, though 10.50 for a lunchtime dessert is steep.

Fantastic food, as always, and very good value by Dublin standards. We were served by Ana, who was attentive and friendly, as were all the staff. I had the signature pasta dish, Penne Giardiniera, my daughter the gluten free version of same. This is my favourite Italian dish of all time.

Food was lovely but unfortunately we were beside an extremely loud table and couldn’t hear ourselves think (4 small children & 3 adults on their way to the pantomime, all very excited but screaming and jumping around). Management eventually asked them to be quiet. Once they left, it was most enjoyable.
