Schönes Restaurant mit leckerem typisch ungarischem Essen! Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man Budapest nach Berlin holen möchte.
Essen und Wein waren sehr gut Die Bedienung korrekt und höflich allerdings war es wegen der Vorbereitung eines Events etwas unruhig. Der Außenplatz ist verbesserungsfähig - leider wird der Innenhof nicht genutzt.
Lets start with the one and only negative but it is not the fault of the BP Calling: We were on a Veronika Harcsa concert and it was not a real but an improvisation project, so not a real jazz that we were looking for. But...the place is nice. Easy to find, easy to get parking place, public transportation stations are in 200 meters Staff can speak German, English and Hungarian perfectly, the cookers are Hungarians and do their job perfectly. The menu is as long as it is necessary portions are more than enough and all is under 20 EUR. The wine portfolio is awesome 5-10 different types from all the main wine region. Hungarian wine are much more delicious than the most of the European ones and cheaper than all of them. You can taste Hungarian handmade beers too. We will be back soon... :)
I was very positively surprised. The restaurant at a very relaxed and welcomng atmosphere. Perfect to go with frineds for a wine as there is no annoying background music. The live music had good acoustics and was well chosen for the place. We will definitely go again. It would be nice to have a newsletter with upcoming event for the folowing month.
Essen war wirklich sehr gut und ausgefallen. Wein war auch regional und gut. Leider war an dem Abend nicht so viel los und die Atmosphäre war etwas kühl. Allerdings werden dort auch öfters Konzerte angeboten, dann ist es bestimmt richtig top dort.
We had lunch with a group of 8 at Budapest Callng. Although it was very busy, it was an excellent experience. The staff is very friendly, attentive and quick and the food (business lunch menu) was very tasteful and well presented. The restaurant is easy to find and the atmosphere, also during the day, is amazing. Highly recommended.
