Santa Cantina

I don't remember his name but the waiter working there last night was super nice and warm!! i haven't had service like that in berlin for ages. He explained the food to us and also made recommendations.

This used to be one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Berlin, but since covid, they have combined with a piri chicken place, and it's disappointing. The pork tacos were still delicious, but my husband normally gets a quesadilla or chicken tacos, neither of which are on the menu anymore. Fried chicken is the only chicken option for tacos now. The chips were decent, but I liked the old kind better. Also, the restaurant was somehow out of guacamole at 7pm, and they were out of rum, both strange. Normally I wouldn't go to a restaurant offering Mexican food plus another type of cuisine because it's usually better when a restaurant picks one direction and specializes in it. I really wish Santa Cantina would go back to just having good Mexican/Tex-Mex food. Also worth noting that service was still great!

Richtig leckeres Essen. Wir haben uns die die Tacos for Two geteilt und waren nicht enttäuscht. Einfach eine tolle Auswahl an Essen und wir sind sehr glücklich nach Hause gegangen.

Rund um zufrieden. Das Essen war lecker und die Bedienungen sehr freundlich.

Good food and Margaritas! Especially the Jackfruit quesadilla and Yucca fries!
