Terrible service and a very boring place! We were underappreciated

the food is good, I had grilled beef and it was very delicious. However, compared to the price the portion size was a bit small. The dish itself was very creative and nicely put together. One not good thing about the restaurant was the ventilation, the strong smell of food was disturbing because there was not a good ventilation.

Speisen waren sehr gut. Leider war mein Wunschgericht auf der Karte (Ramen) nicht vorhanden und eine andere Suppe als Hauptgericht gab es auch nicht. Meine Alternative war leider ein kaltes jedoch sehr schmackhaftes Gericht (Veggie Lovers ist mehr eine kalte Bowl), mein Fehler - irgendwie hatte ich gedacht, dass der Mittagstisch ein warmes Gericht ist. Bedienung, Interieur, Atmosphäre war sehr gut.

Super freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen, besonders die Shrimps und der Spinat als Vorspeise!

Es war überraschend voll zur Mittagszeit. Wir wurden zügig bedient. Es war eigenartig, dass es keine deutschsprachigen Speisekarten mehr gibt. Das Essen war gut, aber nicht sehr gut. Der Service unaufmerksam in der Folge. In Summe gut, aber nicht mehr sehr gut.

Gyoza waren völlig verklebt. Ente furztrocken und zäh. Tischzuteilung für 2 Personen eine Zumutung. Weißweinschorle war winzig. Nie wieder.

Sehr schneller Service. Sehr zuvorkommend. Und die Gerichte überzeugen durch Geschmack und Finesse ! Gerne wieder !

Wir haben “satte” 2,5h auf unser Essen gewartet. Es war sehr laut und man wird ständig angerempelt von den Kellnern wenn man am Gang sitzt. Die Musik wird unnötig laut aufgedreht je später es wird. Wenn man nicht an einem hippen Influencer Tisch sitzt und flaschenweise bestellt, ist man quasi unsichtbar für das Personal. Aber das Essen war wirklich hervorragend im Geschmack und frisch zubereitet.

Das Essen wäre volle Punktzahl. Leider ist ein Tisch für zwei sehr klein. Ich fand es schade, dass mir zur Begrüßung gesagt wurde: wir sind heute Abend sehr gebucht. Bitte in 100 Minuten fertig sein. Da wir sowieso noch in die Nachtschicht zur Arbeit mussten, war die Zeit kein Problem, aber das sollte bei der Reservierung mitgeteilt werden. Wir sind aus Spandau gekommen und das liegt nicht grad um die Ecke. Wenn man sich einen schönen Freitag Abend hätte machen wollen… Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Und wie gesagt: Das Essen war es wert!

We really enjoyed our visit, we grabbed smaller snacks that were delicious. Since we were in summer, we were sitting outside overlooking the canal. Really nice place, attentive and kind staff - we'll come back soon to try out other dishes!

Kai Maison is a beautiful atmospheric restaurant with truly imaginative and delicious food. The depth of flavor and creativity of the chef is truly a rarity for Berlin.
